11th Annual Student Conference in legal theory and philosophy of law takes place in Belgrade, Serbia on 11-12 November 2024. Topic of this year’s edition is “Law and Social Sciences”. Languages of the Conference are Serbian and English.

Deadline for application is August 20th 2024. Application is free of charge.

CfP: 16th CEE Forum of Young Legal, Political and Social Theorists

16th Central and Eastern European Forum of Young Legal, Political and Social Theorists will take place on 12-13th September 2024 in Sarajevo, Bosnia and Herzegovina.

The conference is aimed at students, PhD students as well as young post-docs and professors coming from all over the world (not only from Central and Eastern Europe).
The conference language is English. If you wish to participate, please send an abstract of about 300-500 words at ceeforum2024@gmail.com by 30th of May 2024.

LLM in Common Law Theory and Practice, Queen Mary University of London

Queen Mary University of London launched a new LLM programme ‘LLM in Common Law Theory and Practice’. 

The programme stats in Septmeber 2024 and combines theoretical and applied study of the common law, and offers a study opportunity for both students unfamiliar with the common law and students who wish to deepen their existing knowledge.

CfP: 2nd CALSP Student Conference

The Croatian Association for Legal and Social Philosophy and Theory of Law and State (CALSP/IVRCroatia) is organizing a new edition of a student conference in legal theory.

The 2nd CALSP Student Conference: “Current State and Upcoming Challenges of Legal Theory andPhilosophy of Law, 2024” will be held in person at the Faculty of Law, University of Zagreb on May 3, 2024.
Contributions to a wide range of legal issues, from legal philosophy and analytic legal theory to social theories of law, are welcome. Dogmatic (doctrinal) and historical, sociological, economic, etc., studies of law with strong conceptual, theoretical or philosophical content are also acceptable. Applications are open to all undergraduate, graduate and doctoral students and run until February 29, 2024.
